Wiltshire Scrapstore is an award winning environmental and community charity

Wiltshire Scrapstore is an award winning environmental and community charity (charity no. 1077193) situated on Griffin Estate on the outskirts of Lacock. We collect resources that would otherwise go to landfill and redistribute them for creative activities and projects of all kinds, from arts and crafts to DIY.
We have a cafe serving light lunches, coffee, cakes and a variety of teas.
Griffin Growers provide our salad produce and many of the vegetables for our home made soups so there is zero carbon footprint!
We also have a quirky, social enterprise shop, Barty’s Little Eco Shop, in Lacock village itself, which can be found in the gravel court yard next to the George Inn.
At Wiltshire Scrapstore, we love the challenge of giving waste materials a second life.
All of our materials are collected by our van from businesses from across Wiltshire and therefore provide a free recycling opportunity for unwanted surplus avoiding landfill and giving it a second greatly appreciated life.
Our resources reach out to over 400,000 children and young people and over 55,000 adults throughout Wiltshire and surrounding area.
Griffin Club and the Aspiration Hub on site are some of our best customers! Their students love browsing our Scrapstore and choosing resources for their projects!
The Scrapstore warehouse on Griffin Estate is open five days a week for members of the public, families, community groups and schools to access the materials and services which we provide. Our warehouse is bursting with inspiration.
We offer free membership and simply ask members to make a donation for resources they take each time they visit the Scrapstore!
