There are so many areas we could cover in this event that we may have to start a whole series of different topics to cover them all. For the initial conversation we will be focusing on a few key areas such as:
Recycling: Where does it all go? Does it really make a difference? Come and hear Paul Mortimer, Sales Director of Grist Environmental share what really happens to our waste in Wiltshire. We will be looking at where Wiltshire ranks in the UK for recycling, how our waste segregation happens and what we can expect to change in the future.
Electric Cars: Janet Williamson is one of the country's leading independent EV trainers to the automobile industry. An early adopter herself, Janet will talk us through everything we should consider when it comes to switching to an EV and explain why they're not right for everyone. We will cover whether Britain's charging stations are sufficient to support a mass changeover and if the products are safe enough for the retail market along with explaining the different types of car, some of the terminology that gets banded about and (a bit about) how they work!
